... the girly-girl side of me.

After getting new paint and carpet, I had really wanted to change directions, and have a calm, serene, almost bare bedroom without a lot of clutter and knick-knacks. A room with no frou-frou and vintage prints covering the walls, etc, etc.
But slowly the room is reverting back to it's old self. I hope this is as far as it goes. ;-)

I just couldn't resist this new coverlet for spring and summer. I love my white down comforter for winter, but it's just too warm and heavy for now.

I found this blanket from an antique mall. Actually, like a fool, I walked by it each visit I made, for 6 months in a row. Then, I went back to buy it (after it plagued me in my dreams) and it wasn't there! Luckily they had just moved it to into a crib in the corner of the room... but it sure gave me a scare!
